Prepare it as a square
Most platforms take profile images as a square and display them as a circle. Upload a non-square photo and the system crops it for you — often not how you wanted. Make it a 1:1 square first so you control the crop.
- Recommended: 320×320 or larger, e.g. 400×400–1000×1000.
